A Mom’s Gratitude
One of the desires of our Lifeline Pregnancy Resource Center is to be a support system for moms. This takes place in many different ways, but especially through listening, encouragement, and prayer. Lifeline recently received a letter from a current client that has had a lot going on in her life. She wanted to express her gratitude to everyone at Lifeline.
In part of it, she shares “During this very difficult period of my life I got to know the staff and attended parenting classes at Lifeline Pregnancy Resource Center. Without their help and support I could not have made it. I’m so thankful for all the emotional and material support they provided for me and my son and I know that the folks at Mission Possible & Lifeline were praying for me. Thank you all!”.
It’s really special when we get to hear our mom’s appreciation for how Lifeline has impacted their lives for the better. We are honored that moms from our community continue to trust us to be present with them during all seasons of life!
Encouraging Child Passenger Safety
After traveling to West Texas & completing an intense week-long training, we are happy to announce that Mary Helen Russell, our Lifeline Pregnancy Resource Center Director and Jessica Post, our Child & Family Director have obtained national certification as Child Passenger Safety Technicians! This is an important first step in our efforts to be eligible to apply and be a recognized community partner & distribution site through the state’s Safe Riders program. Once approved, this partnership would provide families with much needed brand new child passenger safety seats (car seats) free of charge to those in need of them, like many of our Lifeline clients. As we continue in this process, we are looking forward to having the ability and resources to offer such an important resource to our community. Thank you for your ongoing support!
