Believers coming together to help youth in our community learn about God and experience His love in a safe, caring, & positive environment.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20

Our East Austin community has many real needs that we can help meet. The most important need is to hear about Jesus. Our hope is to serve with fellow believers who see the City of Austin as their opportunity to “Go and make disciples” and are passionate about sharing the hope of Jesus with our youth from East Austin.

-Beyond all the fun at camp is a meaningful and impactful experience for everyone involved-

Our Campers get to see the love of Christ, experience His joy & the hope found in Him alone. They see believers coming together, the power of prayer, serving others, forgiveness, the peace that God brings, & people living their lives for Jesus.

Our Volunteers get to be an example of all these things for our campers to see. As we serve them, they get to see God at work in us and through us.

Camp Nikos is an overnight camp for elementary aged kids (6-12 years old)  in our regular weekly programming. Throughout camp we’ll have fun games, yummy food, bible lessons, devotionals, singing & dancing, art, baking, high ropes course, and more! The purpose of camp is to teach the campers about Jesus, show them God’s love for them, and to have fun together!

Counselors (14 years old and older) are paired up with 1-2 campers for the entire camp! As a camper’s counselor, you get to build a friendship, have fun with them, help them make good choices, teach them about Jesus, and participate in all the activities together. Counselors and campers are placed in cabin groups, with an adult as their cabin leader, so counselors are able to help each other out and build camaraderie as a cabin group. You will sleep in the same cabin as your camper and be responsible for them (with help) the duration of camp.

Kitchen Help:

Sharing meals together not only meets a physical need, but helps build relationships & shows our campers how much we value them. Helping in the kitchen can involve meal prep, cooking, serving food, keeping the kitchen clean, dishwashing, and other various tasks.

**We are currently still in need of a Kitchen Lead to lead our Kitchen Team in organizing cooking all meals.

Support Crew:

The Support Crew is for college aged and older. Everyone that makes up the Support Crew helps where needed. This could include helping with activities, serving snacks, relieving counselors during their break, helping with behavior problems, and more. Having reliable people available and ready for any task helps camp run more smoothly!

An important role within Support Crew are our Cabin Leaders! Cabin Leaders are adults who have been to camp before and/or have experience with kids. As a Cabin Leader, you get to be the living example of our mission & vision to everyone throughout camp. They will help lead the cabin in unity, handle more difficult situations, offer counselor support, and be an extra set of hands and eyes for their assigned cabin.

One-Day Help:

Are you interested in helping with camp, but not available the entire time? We have some one-day opportunities you might be able to help with! These include various activity help, kitchen help, and more. Email for more information on one-day opportunities!
