When we meet kids at Big Fish Club, we never know how long we’ll get with them. They might only be visiting the apartment complex, they might move the next month, or by God’s grace, we get years. Getting years to build deeper relationships and trust with our kids is an honor! They allow us into their lives to experience both joys and hard times. We get to grow together and teach each other.
Our hope for the elementary school kids coming to Big Fish Club and Camp Nikos is that the relationships formed there would continue into their middle & high school years at our FUZE youth program. This hope has become a reality! At FUZE, the majority of the students attending have grown up coming to Big Fish Club, Tutoring & Camp Nikos, and some even attending our previous Cornerstone After-School Program.
Throughout the years of these kid’s involvement with Mission Possible, there have been countless volunteers pouring into them in their different seasons of serving with us. They’ve read God’s Word with them, taken them to the movies, had hard conversations with them, and so much more. Within all of this our kids have experienced trust, forgiveness, and bonds that run deep. The consistency between every volunteer’s love for God and our kiddos carries over from program to program. God is so good to answer our prayers and continuing to allow us to pour into these kids in their middle & high school years as well.
Please join us in praying for a desire in our current elementary aged kids to continue in our programming as they get older for continued life change!
