B.A.G.S. (Bringing Assistance of Grace and Service) is a monthly grocery assistance provided through the Central Texas Food Bank to the elderly and homebound. Volunteers are provided with a box of supplemental groceries to deliver to the homes of the elderly and shut-in population that we have taken into the program.Volunteers deliver to homes, developing relationships with the individuals and spending time talking with them, praying for them, and determining any additional needs they may have.

Mission Possible Austin is in need of non-perishable food items for our B.A.G.S. Grocery Delivery Program! Please collect and bring your donated food items to Mission Possible Austin at 1190 Chicon St. Austin, TX 78702 on Saturday, May 2nd from 9:30am-11:30am.

Watch Fred & Irene’s Story about B.A.G.S.

B.A.G.S. is considered an “essential” program during the Coronavirus/ COVID-19 pandemic as we continue to serve with precaution and adherence to medical professional guidlines. Our B.A.G.S. program is small, and serves mainly the home-bound and elderly. Food is now in high-demand due to hoarding, unenployment, and high-risk to exposure to COVID-19.
