In all of our programs, one of our prayers is for everyone to feel and know about God’s love for them. It’s because of this love that we are saved and can be with Him again. In this world, we usually see a selfish love but with God, we get to experience unconditional and pure love. Another fruit of the Spirit we’ve been seeing how mightily God can move through and touch His children is His peace. Again, this world is full of the opposite. Chaos, tensions, conflict, hate and so much more surrounds us in this broken world. When we encounter God and His people, we get to experience His true peace that can only be found in Him. This is what our kids and teens get to experience at our programs. Through God’s grace, His love and peace can be felt and known through us, His children. This past year, we’ve gotten to see how God has used his love and peace to transform lives as God is drawing our youth to Himself. This pure love and peace is different than anything else they experience, and they’re hungry for it. They’re hungry for God’s Word, His truth, and knowing more about how He transforms us. As God uses us to further reveal Himself to these kids, we continually pray that they don’t fix their eyes on us but instead on our perfect Creator, Savior and Lord through our surrender!
God’s peace surpasses all our understanding. Even in the midst of chaos and uncertainties that we and all our kids face, as we seek God He meets us with His peace and guards our hearts and minds.
