This past year has been full of both praises and challenges at Big Fish Club. Every Thursday night, our teams of volunteers go to nearby apartment complexes to spend time with the elementary aged kids by playing, connecting, doing a Bible lesson, and building relationships.

Big Fish Club wouldn’t be possible without our faithful volunteers that come every week to pour into all the kids at the apartments! At our end of year wrap-up last week, volunteers were asked to think back on the past year at how God has worked within themselves, the kids, and Big Fish Club as a whole. It’s always encouraging and hopeful to see God’s faithfulness in such tangible ways and how He has been working amongst everyone!

“I was seeking to give love to the kids at Big Fish, but I felt like I received so much more from them than I gave.”

“The parents enjoy having us there and we are building relationships with them and the kids outside of Thursday nights.”

“Each kid has their own personality and watching their growth over the past year has been a joy to witness.”

“A few of the kids and parents started coming to church on Sunday.”

“Parents have felt comfortable approaching us with prayer requests and texting volunteers about BFC.”

“Even if it was near freezing or pouring rain, the kids were always running & screaming when we arrived.”

Volunteers shared praises from this past year serving with Big Fish Club
