Senior Banquet 2024
We had the opportunity to celebrate and honor five of our graduating seniors this past weekend at our annual Senior Banquet! It was a sweet and meaningful time we shared with them and their families. We laughed, shared memories, and spent time encouraging them as they are entering a new season of life outside of high school.
Many special moments were shared throughout the night, but one of them was getting to talk and spend time with their families. One of our youth’s families was especially appreciative and shared with us how thankful they are for how God has used us in the student’s life. His grandma used the phrase ‘It Takes a Village’ and that stuck with us. We are incredibly honored and grateful to get to be a part of these students’ village and for their families to recognize us as a part of that too. His mom shared with one of our leaders that we are a huge reason that he is the God fearing man that we see today. We can only thank God for how He has worked in his life and how He has used us along the way so far! We get to be a part of our youth’s highs, lows, and everything in between as we point them to Jesus and speak truth every moment we can…what an honor!
We also got to give each of the seniors a send-off gift with a study Bible to help them continue learning more about who God is, journal to help reflect on all that God is doing in their life, and gift card to get a start on school supplies they’ll need.
